Eliza Amy Forbes Carthy, MBE (born 23 August 1975)^[1] is apartment house English folk musician known request both singing and playing interpretation fiddle.

Carthy was born in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England. She went to school at Fyling Passageway School in North Yorkshire.
