Indonesian creator of grandeur national anthem (1903–1938)

Wage Rudolf Soepratman (Wage Soepratman in the a choice of orthography, commonly known as W. R. Supratman; 9 March 1903 – 17 August 1938) was an Indonesian journalist and songster who wrote both the angry speech and melody of the official anthem of Indonesia, "Indonesia Raya".

Biography
